4. What are the new LTE Tablet Plans?

  •  LTE Broadband Tablet Plan

This Pricing Plan is associated with the Tablet Product and costs $299 + VAT monthly.

The Pricing Plan will allow for speeds up to 5Mbps. The Plan includes a One-Time Charge

for Sale of the Standard Tablet is $999 + VAT.

  •  LTE Student Tablet Plan

This Pricing Plan is associated with the Tablet Product and costs $199 + VAT monthly.

The Pricing Plan will allow for speeds up to 5Mbps. The Plan includes a One-Time Charge

for Sale of the Standard Tablet is $499 + VAT (Student Special).

5. Is there a contract required when signing up for the new LTE Plans?

  • Yes, the required contractual period is two (2) years for a Regular LTE Plan, or one (1) year

    for a Student LTE Plan.

6. Are there term discounts offered to the LTE Tablet Plans?

No, the LTE Tablet Plans are competitively priced and offer no additional term discounts.

7. Who can apply for the LTE Student Tablet Plan?

New residential or individual customers only, in good LTE coverage areas, are invited to sign up for the Wireless Broadband service. The Student Plan can be applied for by:

(a) An adult signing up on a student’s behalf if student is between 12 years old and 18 years old– Student and Valid Identification must be presented – Occurs only via Field Sales

(b) A tertiary level with Valid Student Identification – Can occur via any Customer Service or Sales Channel

8. What are the criteria to meet for the Student Tablet Plan for a Tertiary Level student?

For a tertiary level student applying for the Student Tablet Plan, the student must be currently enrolled at a Registered Institution in Trinidad and Tobago with a valid Student ID (Student ID number and valid expiry date). Only one (1) Student Plan per student. Terms and conditions for regular services apply. The Student may continue to subscribe to the plan until expiration of Student ID after which the student would be transferred to the Standard Tablet Plan.

9. Are customers required to pay the cost of the equipment when signing up for the LTE Tablet service?

For the LTE Tablet Plans the initial cost of the device is to be paid at the time of sign-up

– LTE Broadband Tablet Plan (Standard Tablet – $999 + VAT)

– LTE Student Tablet Plan (Standard Tablet Student Pricing – $499 + VAT)

– Note: For the current Promotion (19th January 2017 to 31st March 2017), persons registering for the Tablet Plans are not required to pay for the device at the time of sign-up.

10. Can employees apply for the LTE Tablet Package?

Yes. They can sign up for any of the LTE Tablet package selected. No further employee discounts are applicable.

11. How long will it take to have the service activated?

The service is activated at the time of sign-up. As such, when the customer exits the store, they will have a fully-functional device.

12. How can I apply for the service?

To apply for service, a customer can visit any Mobile Retail Store or Customer Service Centre

14. What is the warranty period for a LTE device?

There is a one (1) year warranty on all LTE devices. During the warranty period a LTE device can be changed out due to manufacture’s defects FREE of charge. Outside of the warranty period of one year the customer will have to pay for a new device if required.
